Chapter 3: First Date
               
                As she walked up the stairs with a box of things Bianca couldn't help but smile she was finally moving into her own apartment, no more worrying about her mother asking where she was going and when she was going to be home. She had her own place now she could come and go as she pleased.
                "Looking good B" Maggie said looking at the pile of boxes
                "I know it's not alot of stuff but hey it's a start"
                There was a small knock at the opened door and there stood Lena Kundera in all her glory with a small bag in hand. "Hello"
                "Hi Lena"
                "I saw you earlier so I figured i'd get you a little something for your new place."
                "Thank you" Bianca said taking the bag and opening it to see a set of kitchen towels and pot holders.
"You know it's funny this is one thing I didn't pick up" she said with a chuckle
                "Well I'm glad I could be of some service"
                "Thank you so much"
                "It was no trouble"
                "Would you like to come in we're going to take a small break"
                "I don't want to intrude on you and your friend"
                "OH!" Bianca had forgotten all about Maggie "I'm so sorry Lena this is my best friend Maggie Stone"
                "Hi nice to meet you"
                "I believe we've met"
                "Yes I know but I didn't know who you were or even how to speak so.."
                "It is nice to meet the sober you" they all let out a small laugh "but I really must be going Bianca I have some work to do"
                "Well it was nice to see you again" Bianca said
                "Yes it was and we'll see each other again if you don't mind me dropping by every now and then"
                "No I don't"
                "Hey why don't we go for drinks tonight???" Maggie piped up
                "Yes we could meet at BJ's great food and great service nothing fancy but you'll love it"
                "What do you think Lena 7 ok?"
                "Yes that'll be good"
                "Just come here and we'll take you ok"
                "Ok"
                "Well see you tonight then"
                "Yes" Lena said smiling brightly at Bianca who returned it "Until later ladies" and she left
                "Wow she's hot, you been holding out on me Binks?"
                "I met her at Blue Angel and saw her a couple days ago I don't even know her yet"
                "But admit it she's hot"
                "She is" Bianca said with a grin going into the kitchen

                "Bianca's got a girlfriend, Bianca's got a girlfriend" Maggie chanted as she set up the kitchen while Bianca was busy with the movers in the living room who had gotten there just in time.
                "Shut up Maggie" Bianca growled "she's not my girlfriend"
                "Sorry Bianca you know i'm just teasing"
                "Yes but it's time to stop now" she turned back to the moving guys "thank you so much"
                "Your welcome Ms. Montgomery"
                After the movers had left Bianca took a shower while Maggie had went home to get changed.
                Bianca wore her blue jeans and white collared shirt. And then the phone rang
                "Hello"
                "Uh hey Bianca i'm not going to be able to make it tonight" Maggie said
                "Why not?"
                "Some last minute plans came up but hey have fun with Lena i'll call you tomorrow"
                "Ok bye"
                "Bye"

                At 6:50 Lena showed up in jeans and a white tank that showed off her long arms.
                "Hello again" she said with a smile
                "Hello..you look great"
                "Thank you..your not so bad yourself"
                "Well thank you"
                "Where is Maggie"
                "She's actually not coming something came up"
                "Oh"
                "But that's ok i'll try my best to show you a good time" she said getting her keys "shall we?"
                "Yes"

                BJ's was as busy as ever with music playing and people dancing on the dancefloor.
                "It's great" Lena said as they sat at a table
                "So you like it ok?"
                "Yes"
                "We could go somewhere I mean there's other places and..." she stopped feeling Lena's hand on hers
                "This is perfect Bianca I think this might be a nice place to sit back and relax"
                "Actually there's another spot for that maybe i'll show you it later"
                "That would be lovely"
                "Ok"
                With non-alcoholic drinks they chatted away learning about each other and they even danced closely.
                And then Bianca took Lena to the Boathouse.
                "Now this is where you come to relax and think" she said slipping off her shoes her toes slipping into the cool water. "come on don't be shy take your shoes off relax"
                So Lena did settling down beside Bianca "So you come here alot?"
                "No just when I want to think, you can see the 4th of July fireworks really well"
                "I'll have to come then"
                "Alright but this is my spot ok i'll be here most of the day"
                "That's ok"
                They sat there for the longest time just watching the water before Lena looked at her watch
                "Bianca"       
                "Hmm"
                "I'm sorry but it's late I need.."
                "Oh i'm sorry"
                "It's ok but I need to go on to sleep"
                Slowly they made their way back to the car and then to Bianca's house where they stood beside Lena's car saying goodnight
                "I had a wonderful time"
                "I'm glad" Bianca said "well goodnight"
                "Goodnight Bianca" she opened her door "that was a wonderful first date" she kissed Bianca's cheek and slid into her car driving away
                It didn't really occur to Bianca until she was in bed settling to sleep that Lena had said 'first date'. She fell asleep with a smile on her face.

                While across town in her new place Lena sat with a drink in hand
                "Lena what are you doing?" she asked herself downing the rest of it.
